Poem (Nazam) is an important genre of Urdu literature and it is diverse in forms as Urdu literature iteself. Many poets have produced literature to the best of their capabilities in various Urdu Nazam. Among them, Majeed Amjad stands head and shoulder when it comes to "Muarra Nazm.”  He produced great poems in varied forms of "Muarra Nazm" some of them are for example in run on lines, others are in stanza form. The distinction of Majeed Amjad lies in his creating of harmony and rythm, sometimes with repetition of words, sometimes with entire lines. He introduced rhyme and rythm pattern which further enhance the music effect and harmony of "Muarra Nazm.” In this article, the authors have had a thorough view of Majeed Amjad's "Muarra Nazm" as far as the form of the nazm is concerned.
