The famous Urdu Novel “Aangan” was written by Khadija Mastoor in the scenario of Taqseem-e-Hind after about fifteen years of partition. This novel deals with the details of independence movement from different angles. In this article, the political aspects found in the said novel have been discussed and analysed critically while giving relevant examples from the original text
