Abstract

It has been established in this article that since prose poetry does not have any structural form, it can not be included in the genres of literature as a separate genre.Despite the fact that after half the century has passed and no mainstream poet and critic recognized it a poetry, non poets still continue presenting it as a poetry. This trend is causing huge damage to all the recognized poetical genres in vogue. If there are giants like Mir, Ghalib and Iqbal on the one hand, we see the people writing non sense prose but desirous of being included in their clan on the other. These people have still time to reconsider their approach. Either they should follow the established rules of the poetry or present their prose as prose, not a poetry.
