Abstract

Massive number of poems, Anthems, National Songs & Rapurtaz were revealed during and after the war of September 1965. New symbolic, figurative expression, new poetry images were established Ghulam Saqlain Naqvi, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, Ufra Bukhari, Farkhanda Lodhi, Masood Mufti and Sadiq Hussain etc had written powerful and touching short stories in the back ground of this war. All the Afsana's collection of Masood Mufti's "Rag-e-Sang" and Ghulam Saqlain Naqvi's Collection Naghma-aor-Aag were written during the September War, These short stories were full of love and affections with the motherland. Pakistanism was presented for the first time in these short stories. In this article, the writer has brought forward a critical and analytical study of such short stories written in urdu language.
