Abstract

There are several views about the birth of Urdu language; these views are divided into two major groups. One group propagates the view that the arrivals of Muslims into Sub Continent gave birth to Urdu, the other group is of the view that the arrival of the Aryans gave birth to Urdu. The borrowed words show the relation of these languages with Urdu. The fact is true about Turkish language.Culturally, traditionally and conceptually Turkish and Urdu languages are related to each other.  Urdu language not only contains borrowed words from Turkish language, but also Proverbs, Idioms, Phonetic, Phonology, Morphology, Semantics, syntax of both language is surprisingly similar.
