Abstract

After the failure of independence war in 1857 the British fully subjugated the sub-continent. Every school of thought raised its voice against British mischievous imperialism. Saadat Hassan Manto is also one of the most important literary figures who raised his voice against the prevailed darkness by the British.  Most of his stories such as Tamasha, Khooni thook, Inqilab Pasand, Deewana shayar, Naya Qanoon, depicted the so called judicial justice and the violence,tyranny, government's feigns, despotic surg of  occupation, machination and deceits of the British rule.
