The Muslims were marked terrorists to the rest of world after this tragedy. There started an era of destruction and killings in many Muslim countries which is still not over. Pakistan is still not out of the 9/11 aftermath. This changing scenario made a deep impact on literature. Like other languages, 9/11 made great effects on Urdu language in genres like poetry and fiction. Zeeshan Sahil is a representative poet of the modern Urdu poetry. He has presented 9/11 effects with their severity in his poems. His book "Jang Ke DinnoN" is of utmost importance. The political, social, economic and psychological effects of 9/11 are clearly apparent in this collection of poems.
