The travelogues  of  Mustansar Hussain Tarar particularly relating to the Northern areas of Pakistan are well known for its literary charm and fascinating beauty. He depicted true and real pictures of the nature in his travelogues. His travelogues possesses many features, attributes and characteristics such as depiction or illustration, characterization, sketching, satire , humour, detailing, exaggeration and using of some of  the poetic and literary devices which clearly distinct his literary work from the rest of Urdu literature.
