Abstract
The creation of a new state in sub-continent was the result of a lot of sacrifices rendered by the muslim community of this region. In order to gain their religious, political and economic freedom, thousands of muslim families had to face such circumstances under which they had lost their assets, women and children. The novel ‘LAHU JO HAM BAHA KY AAEY’ written by Mr. LAHU JO HAM BAHA KY AAEY elaborates such incidents which took place in the eve of migration after partition. This novel describes the decline of social as well as moral values. It shows that in order to subdue the Muslim nation, the extremists shed rivers of blood of innocent people with cruelty. It tells the painful story of caravans which arrived in Pakistan after sacrificing and loss of their beloved ones. In this article, the authors have carried out a critical and analytical study of this novel. This critical study deals with the style of the novelist that how successfully he has presented the whole scenario of the said historical turning point of sub- continent.
