“Lisani Mutaley”is a lingual research work of Professor Ghazi Ilm Ud Din.He is a versatile personality holding a distinct status and repute in various genres of literature,especially in linguistics.In this field he has full command over the use of proverbs,idioms and dimensions of  lingual research.He has  shwon in  “Lisani Mutaley”his point of view that the ethical,political and cultural decline of a society affects the language,literature and social values.He has given explanation about the structure and formation of some words,idioms and proverbs.A reality has been explained in the said book that Urdu has deep lingual  relations with Arabic language.A breif summary has also been discussed about the rules  of dictation in Urdu.Electronic and print media’s role is not satisfactory for the promotion of Urdu and its pronunciation.In this research article an effort has been made to analyse”Lisani Mutaley”as a  book of Urdu linguisics.
