Abstract
'kafan' is a famous short story written by Munshi Praym Chand. The basic premise of the story is about economic distinctiveness of an extorted society. 'Munddari' is written by a modern short story writer Shafique Anjum. The central idea of story is about selfishness that is a product of unfair social structure of soiety. A comparative analysis of both the short stories has been carried out in this article.
