Abstract
Nasir Kazmi is one of the maestros of Urdu literature. He migrated from Anbala to Lahore after Pakistan got her independence. The chaos and painful experiences of the 1947's migration had terrible impact on his weighing and art leading to his eternal depression. Due to the pains in his poetry, he is considered a pessimist poet. Nevertheless, his poetry may apparently consider a pessimist poet however there is optimism in his sad poetry. The presence of optimism in his sad poetry is under consideration in this research paper.
