Abstract

"Feminism's history is a tale of spirit, progress, and the tireless struggle for equality. It has inspired women and men globally to question norms, challenge systems, and envision a world where gender does not dictate one's path of success and priority. Feminism in literature explains how to understand women's experiences, society, and fairness between genders. The portrayal of women in Urdu fiction is an extensive topic, and it is difficult to explore it in a single research article. Therefore, this article only focuses on the writings of Mustansir Hussain's "Khas-o-Khashak Zamany". The stories depict feminine characters who suffer from different socio-culturally unscrupulous customs of society. He attempts to explain the male-oriented society and the dire situation of women who fell into the deception that someone would come to save them.
