Abstract

Poet is a sensitive person of the society .The events and

the changes occuring in the society at social,political and economical levels

have direct postive and negtive impact upon him.

He tries to depict such events in his poetry. Noon Meem Rashid could not over look the

down-trodden poor segment of the society which has been financially exploited.

Rashid's poetry represents the poor economic situation of financially deprived

class of the society. His poetry mainly illustrates the ecnomically opressd and exploited people

while portraying their emotions and feelings. In this article such aspects of his poetry have been explored and analysed by the authors.
