Abstract

After the partition of sub-continent, like all other genera

of urdu literature, there was a great increase in fiction

writing Qudrat-ullah Shahab is also an important fiction

writer in this regard. His fictions are the best example of

ruthless truth and clearcut description of realities of those

days.He creative work is based on direct and deep

observation of his surroundings. His fictions are particularly

related to social and political unjustices.Political awareness

is particularly seen in his writings. In this article,the auther

has brought forward a critical study of Qudrat ullah shahab

is fiction writings with special reference to political

awareness found in his work.
