Urdu and Hindko both are the sub-branches of  Indo-Arian languages family. As for as linguistic and literary aspects are concerned, there are a lot of  similarities in both the languages. In this article the authors have carried out a research  study exploring the similarities in idioms and proverbs in the said languages while giving relevant examples from both the languages.
