The importance of terminology in translation is quite significant. Translators tend to determine various terminologies for translation. Its principles have been derived by the scholars of Urdu literature and linguistics after research, criticism and discussion. This article focuses on the definition, meaning and importance of terminology. Citation of opinions from different researchers is one significant aspect of this article. This article not only presents some terminologies as examples but also highlights the methodology to determine terminology. This article is equally beneficial for students and teachers.
