Abstract
Pashto is the ancient language of sub-continent and the people who speak Pashto has been living in Sub-Continent hundred of years. Therefore it is natural that Pashto had been inherited from other languages. Specifically there is a great impact of “Pasho” language in Urdu. When Urdu language was being born in this region on that time Pashto language was very popular. For a very long time Pashto and Urdu languages were alies. Both languages share a common in vocabulary, cultural impact and linguistic approaches. When languages share a high impact from their ancestral Persian, therefore Pasho speakers become habitual in Urdu speaking in a very short time. There is a large collection of Urdu words being used in Pashto language. Both languages became strengthly due to public harmony and mutual relationship. In this article linguistic relationshiop between Urdu and Pashto will be discussed.
