Abstract
These are two MANZOOM SAFARNAAMEY “Poetic Travelogues” focused which reflect not only a traveller’s feel about the landscape of Pakistan and China but they also echo the Pakistani’s and Chinese culture and traditions.
Pakistan and China, both share a same geographical location on the globe and this is not all, because they have a long history of relations which encompass almost every field of life. As we all know well, that literature exhibits whatever life imprints and carves on people’s hearts and minds, the both countries’ literature also manifests the affinity as well. There are many literary genres in Urdu, and one of those is SAFARNAAMA (Travelogue), which explains the traveller’s experience of visiting a place/land in a literary manner. There are many Travelogues written in prose, but my Research Paper here, explains some of those which are not in prose, rather in the form of poetry. These are two MANZOOM SAFARNAAMEY “Poetic Travelogues” focused which reflect not only a traveller’s feel about the landscape of Pakistan and China but they also echo the Pakistani’s and Chinese culture and traditions. One of the both is Riaz ul Rehman Saghar’s CHALO CHEEN CHALEN, which is in Urdu and the other one is YASMEEN originally created in Chinese language by Che Phang and later translated in Urdu under the stated title
