Abstract

Prem Chund is one of those legends of urdu and hindi literature who has a great impact on 20th century Indian literature.He is the architect of urdu and hindi literature in India.He was famous for his novels and short stories but few know his art of essay writing. He was unique in this art also.He wrote at every aspect of life in his essays and use a simple language.He was unique in his diction of essay writing. In this article the author has used his basic text and discussed the topics of his essays. He has also tried to prove that Prem Chand was never shy of writing even at the dark aspects of his religion and history and in this regard it has been proved that he was a critic also
