Abstract

Jataka Tales are the stones of different Gotam's birth according to Budh religion Gotam took births in this world more than five hundred times. For many times he came into this world in animal forms. These tales are full of wisdom with moral lesson. These tales have some deeper meanings and some symbolic layers as well. Intizar Hussain, the great fiction writer wrote some beautiful Jataka Tales in urdu. His subtle style made these stories more interesting and worth reading. In this article Jataka Tales are discussed in detail.
